Because our products are customized digital assets (such as features in our digital magazine, direct mailer designs, and vendor spotlights) delivered directly to consumers, our process is built on collaboration to ensure the final product meets your expectations. Our primary goal is to get it right through a clear and fair revision process before your feature is published or distributed.

2. The Revision & Approval Process

To ensure your marketing materials are perfect, we follow a collaborative, multi-step process:

  • Proofing: Before any asset is finalized for distribution, we will provide you with a digital proof for your review. This is your opportunity to check all details, including text, photos, contact information, and overall design.
  • Revisions: We encourage you to review your proof carefully. We include up to two rounds of reasonable revisions free of charge to correct any errors or make adjustments. All revision requests must be submitted in a timely manner to meet publication deadlines.
  • Final Approval: Once you are satisfied with the proof, you will provide us with your final written approval. This approval is confirmation that you have reviewed and are happy with the asset, and it authorizes us to proceed with distribution.

3. Refund Policy

Due to the custom and digital nature of our services, our ability to offer refunds is limited. Once an asset is approved by you and distributed to the community, it cannot be recalled or returned.

Refunds will generally not be issued for:

  • Dissatisfaction with the design or copy if the final asset is consistent with the proof you approved.
  • Typos, incorrect dates, or other errors that were present in the final proof you approved.
  • The performance or return on investment of the marketing asset.

We will consider a full or partial refund, or a credit for future services, only in the following circumstances:

  • A significant error was made by our team after you provided final approval (e.g., we published the wrong version of your ad).
  • We fail to distribute the asset as outlined in our service agreement.
  • There are major technical failures on our part that prevent the delivery of the asset.

4. How to Address an Issue

To request a revision or report an issue, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us Promptly: For revisions to a proof, please contact us immediately upon receipt. For issues with a distributed asset, please email us at hello@localcommunitymarkets.com within 7 days of the distribution date.
  2. Provide Details: In your email, please include your business name, a description of the issue, and supporting evidence (e.g., a screenshot of the error compared to the approved proof).
  3. Review Process: Our team will review your request within 3-5 business days.
  4. Resolution: If an error is confirmed on our part, we will work with you to find a fair resolution, such as a correction in a future publication, a service credit, or a partial refund.
